Confederations Cup - Brazil 2013

From June 15th to 30th Brazil will host the FIFA Confederations Cup 2013, there are eight nations competing. Here they are:

More than 588,000 tickets have been sold already, and you still have time to buy yours until May 16th. Go to fifa.com , create an account and you will be allowed to buy your tickets. For more information about the Application Process click here.

Once you buy your tickets go to one of the six Venue Ticketing Centres from May 29th, 2013 to print and collect your tickets. They will be open seven days a week from 10 am to 6 pm (local time). The tickets have to be collected in person by the ticket purchaser, bring your ID or passport that you used to apply for the tickets.

Who needs visa to go to Brazil?

Brazil requires US citizens to carry a valid passport and visa to enter the country. You can get the visa in any Brazilian consulate or embassy, also there will be some fees you have to pay.

If you are coming from Australia, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Russia, and China you DO need a visa to come to Brazil.

Many other countries do too, I just listed a few.

Some South American countries just need an ID to travel and some other countries are required to pay a fee, these procedures are always reciprocal to what these countries require from Brazilian citizens traveling to their country. 

Here is a list of countries that don’t need visa, just a valid passport with at least six months validity past your arrival in Brazil. Some South American countries just need an ID to travel and some other countries are requirens.
